Acrylic Color is a colored coating used within acrylic sports flooring systems to create the finished visual appearance of the court. It brings the selected color scheme to the playing surface while forming an important part of the overall acrylic flooring build-up.

The product is mixed with pure white silica sand and clean drinking water before application, allowing the colored surface layer to be prepared according to the requirements of the sports flooring system. With a range of color options available, Acrylic Color helps give each court its distinctive visual character while contributing to the construction of the finished playing surface.

APPLICATION GUIDE

How to Apply Raycourt Acrylic Colors

Acrylic Color is applied in multiple layers to build the colored surface of the acrylic sports flooring system. Follow the recommended mixing ratio, application method, and drying time for a smooth and consistent finish.

Mixing Ratio

Coverage

Acrylic Color typically covers approximately 42 sq.ft per kg per layer. Actual coverage may vary depending on the porosity, texture, and condition of the underlying surface, as well as the application method.

Thickness

Each Acrylic Color layer has an approximate thickness of 0.45–0.55 mm. The final thickness may vary slightly depending on the application method, surface condition, and number of layers applied.

Step-by-Step Application Process

  • Surface Preparation

    Ensure the underlying surface is clean, smooth, and ready for the application of the Acrylic Color layers.

  • Apply the Color Layers

    Apply 2 to 3 layers of Acrylic Color using the recommended mixing ratio and S-150 Squeegee.

  • Smooth the Surface

    After the first or second layer has dried, grind any rough patches or uneven areas to prepare the surface for the next coat.

  • Apply the Final Layer

    Apply the final Acrylic Color layer without adding silica sand, following the recommended mixing ratio.

  • Allow Each Layer to Dry

    Allow each layer to dry completely for approximately one day before applying the next coat.

  • Complete the Color Finish

    Once the final Acrylic Color layer has dried completely, the court surface is ready for the subsequent finishing requirements, such as line marking.
